Paris Healthcare’s DuBois Plant Donates Over 100 Cell Phones and Reading Glasses

When items are found in Paris linen and brought to the office from the production floor, we will always to try to find the owner. If the owner is not found after three months, any reading glasses are taken to Wal-Mart to be given to the Lion’s Club for recycling and any cell phones are donated to Community Action Inc. — Cossroads Project. Crossroads is a program dedicated to helping victims of domestic violence in both Clearfield and Jefferson county in Pennsylvania. Crossroads also has a shelter in each of the mentioned counties for victims of domestic violence and their families.

The cell phones are then “turned into cash” to aid with the expense of shelters and victims needs.
